⛵ A new way to find your next charter destination

Hi Reader,

One of the questions I hear most—especially from repeat charter guests—is surprisingly simple:

"Where should we charter next?"

Finding the right yacht and crew combo is important, but choosing the right destination is often the more complex decision.

Should you return to the Caribbean or finally experience the Mediterranean? Is French Polynesia worth the extra travel? If you're planning for next spring, does it make more sense to visit the British Virgin Islands, the Grenadines, or somewhere you've never considered?

The answer depends on much more than a map. It depends on your travel dates, budget, how far you're willing to travel, who's coming with you, the type of vacation you're hoping to have, the time of year, and even where the best yacht availability exists.

Over the past couple of months, I've been building something to help answer that question.

Introducing the Yacht Warriors Charter Finder.

This isn't a replacement for our Charter Request form—it's what comes before it.

The Charter Finder is designed for that moment when you know you want an incredible yacht vacation, but you're still deciding where it should be.

Behind the scenes, it weighs dozens of factors that experienced charter guests naturally consider: your travel dates, flexibility, budget, travel tolerance, preferred activities, the overall vibe you're looking for, seasonal conditions, and where hand-selected quality yacht inventory is actually available.

The result is a personalized Charter Brief that doesn't just recommend a destination—it explains why that destination rose to the top and what other options are worth considering.

It's essentially the same thought process I go through when someone asks me, "If this were your vacation, where would you send me?"

I'd love for you to give it a try.

This is the first public version, and I'd genuinely appreciate your feedback. If the recommendations feel spot on, I'd love to hear that. If you think I missed something or find an issue, please reply and let me know. Every response will help improve it.

Sample Charter Briefs

Curious what the results look like? Here are a few examples:

Charter Market Update

Still Thinking About a Summer Charter?

There's still time.

While many yachts leave the Virgin Islands during hurricane season, they don't simply disappear—they reposition farther south. That makes St. Vincent & the Grenadines one of my favorite Caribbean recommendations this time of year, with excellent yacht availability throughout the summer. It is by no means without tropical storm risk, but the location further south in the hurricane belt improves your chances.

We've already helped several Yacht Warriors guests book Grenadines charters this season, including one just last week for a short notice August departure aboard Kismet.

If you've been thinking about a last-minute getaway, don't assume you've missed your opportunity.

Mediterranean Update

Summer remains the prime times to charter in the Mediterranean, and availability is becoming increasingly limited for this season, but many yachts have already begun accepting bookings for next year.

If you're hoping to charter this summer, reach out soon and we'll see what's still available.

Looking Ahead

If you're looking ahead to the 2026–2027 Caribbean season, however, now is one of the best times to start planning. Booking early gives you access to the widest selection of yachts, crews, and itineraries before availability begins to tighten as we approach the end of 2026.

Charter Specials

We're starting to see more yachts release special offers for later this fall, with some offering 10% discounts for select departures in November and December.

If your dates are flexible, it's worth taking a look at our latest specials page.

French Polynesia

If French Polynesia has been on your bucket list, there's still a short window to lock in current pricing aboard Purpose before rates increase on July 1. If you missed it, I wrote about this opportunity a few weeks ago, check it out here.

We've already helped several Yacht Warriors guests secure dates aboard Purpose for 2027. If the Society Islands have been on your list, now is an excellent time to begin planning.

As always, if you're thinking about a charter—even if you're just exploring ideas—simply reply to this email or give me a call. I read every response personally, and I'm always happy to help you think through the options.

Have a great week!

Hi Reader, After sharing my recap from MEDYS in Nafplion, I wanted to continue with the second part of our Greece yacht show experience: EMMYS in Poros. A Different Side of Greece Charters While MEDYS gave us a closer look at many of the larger motor yachts in the East Mediterranean, EMMYS has a different energy. The show is much more focused on crewed catamarans and multihulls, which makes it especially valuable for us when looking at Greece charter options for families, couples, and groups...

Hi Reader, Emilia here! As many of you know, our team has been in Greece over the past few weeks attending two of the most important charter yacht shows in the East Mediterranean: MEDYS in Nafplion and EMMYS in Poros. I wanted to start with a recap of MEDYS — the Mediterranean Yacht Show — and share a little bit of what the experience is actually like from a broker’s perspective. What a Yacht Show Really Tells Us MEDYS is not just about walking the docks and looking at beautiful yachts. It is...

Hi Reader, For those of you who may be new here, my name is Emilia — you’ve probably seen me in previous newsletters alongside Matt. But this week, I want to take you somewhere we haven’t talked about nearly enough: the Mediterranean. A quiet Greek anchorage Beyond the Caribbean: Why the Mediterranean Hits Different Most of our clients know us for the Caribbean: the British Virgin Islands, the Exumas, the USVI, and those warm, easy-going island-hopping trips we love so much. But the...
